This cookbook was created for school nutrition professionals to provide more options to prepare North Carolina grown produce. Each recipe has been tested and includes a nutritional analysis to ensure it meets National School Lunch Program standards.

I had the great privilege to work with professionally trained Chef and Registered Dietitian Tessa Nguyen to create a logo for her business, Taste Nutrition Consulting. Tessa’s areas of expertise include recipe development, cooking classes and speaking engagements. 

For 2017 and 2018, I teamed up with a team of talented ladies to create the inaugural calendar featuring a diverse pool of chefs based on their culinary involvement and contributions to the Triangle's food community. It was a great experience to design for good with all proceeds to benefit of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina who serves the area helping local families in need. 

The Sweet Potato Cocktail Book is another fun project I had the privilege of designing. Combining beautiful imagery and recipes by mixologists across the state, this little book was a pleasure to create! Created for the Sweet Potato Commission of North Carolina, the book and accompanying coaster launched in June, 2017. 

Software Integrity, Inc. is an application service provider located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Their mission is to provide high quality solutions to healthcare and non-profit industries. My client wanted to create a clean, modern logotype that conveyed the cutting-edge quality of his company as well as its ability to fluidly integrate their products and services into existing systems.

These were fun little projects featuring sweet potato recipes for Food & Nutrition magazine. Check back for future ads!

Stac is a concept company I created in my senior year at Meredith that I hope to bring to fruition in the future. It is a non-profit organization whose target audience includes a wide range of ages, from middle school-aged children to older adults. The mission of the organization is to communicate that each person has a voice and that actions can bring about positive change, no matter how small. The purpose of the campaign is to motivate this audience to initiate positive change in their corner of the world and also to provide avenues for groups to form and participants to interact through social media. 

Clean, modern typefaces and bold colors were chosen to enhance the appeal to the multiple target audiences. A four-color system was developed for use in other media such as a web and packaging to highlight the four different precepts of the campaign.

A donor/information packet incorporates the four-color scheme. A t-shirt is included that highlights the four tenets of the organization and magazine ads enforce the concept of small actions being big.

This is a concept company I created while in college. Crave and Crumb is a hypothetical dedicated, gluten-free and vegan company focused on providing wholesome and delicious foods. Dedicated to baking items made from organic ingredients that customers can trust, goods are quality products at an affordable price. The companies mission as producers of delicious, healthy foods is to build trust and offer dependability to its customers.

Packaging carried the hand-made feel a step further by incorporating hand-drawn type and other elements. The three colors identify the three product lines — breads, cookies and muffins. The color palette and hand-drawn elements were carried a step further into the advertising.
